Das ist die Homepage zur

CD 2009

1. Prince, A Case of You, 3:32

--> Link zu: "a tribute to Joni Michell" <--

I'm a lonely painter
I live in a box of paints
I uused 2 b frightened by the devil
and drawn 2 those who weren't afraid
Rembember when u told me
that love was touching souls?
Well, surely u touiching mine
Part of u pours out of me from time 2 time in these lines
U're in my blood like holy wine... u're so bitter and so sweetI could
drink a case of u darling
and still on my feet... still be on my feet"

2. Annie Lennox, Thin line between love and hate, 4:55

It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate

It's five o'clock in the morning
And you're just gettin' in
A knock upon the door
A voice sweet and low says (who is it?)
She opens up the door
And she lets you in
And never once does she say "where have you been?"

She says "Hold it,
Are you hungry, did you eat yet,
Let me hang up your coat now"
And all the time she's smiling
Never raises her voice
It's five o'clock in the morning
And you don't give it a second thought

It's a thin line between love and hate
It's a thin line between love and hate

The sweetest woman in the world
Could be the meanest woman in the world
If you make her be that way
She might be holding something in
That's really gonna hurt you
One of these fine days

There you are in the hospital
Bandaged from foot to head
In a state of shock
That much from bein' dead
You didn't think your woman
Could do something like that to you
You didn't think she'd got the nerve
Accidents speak louder than words
Louder than words
Louder than words
Louder than words

Come on
Come on, baby, baby
If you won't give a damn about me
Come on baby, baby
You don't really care about me

Hear what I say
Hear what I say

3. Jason Mraz, I'm Yours, 4:05

Well you dawned on me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chilled but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks and now I'm trying to get back
Before the cool done run out I'll be giving it my bestest
Nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It can not wait, I'm yours
(mmmhhhh ehhhehhh)

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love (love)

Listen to the music of the moment maybe sing with me
I like peaceful melody
it's your God-forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It can not wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

D-d-do do you, do you, d-d-do, do you want to come?
Scooch on over closer dear, and I will nibble your ear
(wohoooooooo wohoooooooooooo haha mhhmmm)

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
my breath fogged up the glass
so I drew a new face and I laughed

I guess what I'm saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do
Our name is our virtue

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It can not wait I'm sure
There's ne need to complicate
(Well, Open up your mind and see like me)
Our time is short
(Open up your plans and damn you're free)
It can not wait, I'm yours
(Look into your heart and you'll find love love love)

No I won't hesitate no more, no more
(Listen to the music in the moment come and dance with me I like one big family)
It can not wait, I'm sure
(It's your God-forsaken right to be loved loved loved)
No need to complicate our time is short
(Open up your mind an see like me open up your plans and damn your free)
This is our fate I'm yours
(Well look into your heart and you find love love love)

4. Stephan Eicher, Combien de temps, 4:13

5. Katie Melua, Ghost town, 3:32

The thing that makes me feel the most down,
Is the feeling that I'm living in a ghost town.
Barn door bangin' in my face,
Like tumbleweed,
I'm rolling 'round this place.

I see you arriving at the station,
But it's only my imagination.
So I'm begging on my knees,
Turn around,
And save me, baby, please.

From this ghost town,
I feel like giving in,
Since you left I'm living in,
An old ghost town.

Hey kid, I remember all the laughter,
Especially when we woke the morning after.
Why did you have to go away,
Leaving me to wander every day.

In this ghost town,
I feel like giving in,
Since you left I'm living in,
An old ghost town.

We were born to ride,
Side by side.
We are always reaching for the stars,
And they can still be ours.

(If you free me from this)

Ghost town,
I feel like giving in,
Since you left I'm living in,
An old ghost town.
I feel like giving in.
Since you left I'm living in,
An old ghost town.

I feel like giving in,
Since you left I'm living in,
An old ghost town.

Living in an old ghost town

6. Noir Désir, Le vent nous portera, 4:49

Je n'ai pas peur de la route
Faudrait voir, faut qu'on y goûte
Des méandres au creux des reins
Et tout ira bien là
Le vent nous portera

Ton message à la Grande Ourse
Et la trajectoire de la course
Un instantané de velours
Même s'il ne sert à rien va
Le vent l'emportera
Tout disparaîtra mais
Le vent nous portera

La caresse et la mitraille
Et cette plaie qui nous tiraille
Le palais des autres jours
D'hier et demain
Le vent les portera

Génetique en bandouillère
Des chromosomes dans l'atmosphère
Des taxis pour les galaxies
Et mon tapis volant dis ?
Le vent l'emportera
Tout disparaîtra mais
Le vent nous portera

Ce parfum de nos années mortes
Ce qui peut frapper à ta porte
Infinité de destins
On en pose un et qu'est-ce qu'on en retient?
Le vent l'emportera

Pendant que la marée monte
Et que chacun refait ses comptes
J'emmène au creux de mon ombre
Des poussières de toi
Le vent les portera
Tout disparaîtra mais
Le vent nous portera

8. An Pierlé, (Il Est 5 Heures) Paris S'éveille, 3:58

Paris by night, regagne les cars

9. Scissor Sisters, Comfortably Numb, 4:30

Hello (hello)
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anybody home?

Come on now
I hear you're feeling down
Well I can ease your pain
And get you on your feet again
Relax...
I need some information first
Relax...
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts?

[Chorus 1]
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship floats on the horizon
You're are only coming through in waves
Your lips can move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child I caught a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain you will not understand
This is not how i am
I have, have, have become comfortably numb

Ok (ok)
Just a little pin-prick
There'll be no more "aaaaaaaaa"
But you may feel a little sick
Nowan you stand up?
I do believe it's working
Uh-huh, uh-huh uh-huh uh-huh
That’ll keep you going through show.
C'mon it's time to go. (X3)

[Chorus 2]
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship floats on the horizon
You're only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child I caught a fleeting-glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now,the child has grown
The dream is gone
I have, have, have become comfortably numb

Uh-huh uh-huh...
I have, have have become Comfortably Numb (fade)

10. Alice Cooper, No Time for Tears, 2:53

No time for tears
Stars don't have time to cry
No time for tears
He's just another guy
Who used your heart
But don' forget who you are

You're playing the part
The greatest movie star
So soul aches
You think it's
The end of it all

But tears always dry
And all of us lie
That's all
Yeah tears always dry
And all of us lie
That's all

Your soul aches
You cry out
You're weeping
You're while

But tears always dry
And all of us lie
Sometimes
Yeah tears always dry
And all of us lie
Sometimes
But tears always dry
And all of us lie
Sometimes?
Yeah tears always dry
All of us lie
Sometimes?
Only sometimes

11. Jewel, Foolish Games, 4:00

You took your coat off and stood in the rain,
You're always crazy like that.
And I watched from my window,
Always felt I was outside looking in on you.
You're always the mysterious one with
Dark eyes and careless hair,
You were fashionably sensitive
But too cool to care.
You stood in my doorway, with nothing to say
Besides some comment on the weather.

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Well in case you failed to notice,
In case you failed to see,
This is my heart bleeding before you,
This is me down on my knees, and...

[Chorus]
These foolish games are tearing me apart,
And your thoughtless words are breaking my heart.
You're breaking my heart.

You're always brilliant in the morning,
Smoking your cigarettes and talking over coffee.
Your philosophies on art, Baroque moved you.
You loved Mozart and you'd speak of your loved ones
As I clumsily strummed my guitar.

You'd teach me of honest things
Things that were daring, things that were clean
Things that knew what an honest dollar did mean
So I hid my soiled hands behind my back
Somewhere along the line I must've gone off track with you

[Pre-Chorus 2]
Well, excuse me, guess I've mistaken you for somebody else,
Somebody who gave a damn,
Somebody more like myself.

[Chorus]
You took your coat off,
Stood in the rain,
You're always crazy like that.

12. Stephan Eicher, Rien n'est si bon, 4:41

Nettoyer ton œil
De la poussière
Enlever une épine
De ton talon
Je n’veux pas remuer
La terre entière
M’occuper de toi
Rien n’est si bon

Faire comme si le piège
Etait ouvert
Abattre les murs
De sa prison
Marcher avec toi
Dans la lumière
Tomber avec toi
Rien n’est si bon

Te chercher des crosses
Pour tes manières
Ton aveuglement
Sur tous ces cons
Te courir après
Pour faire la guerre
Me battre avec toi
Rien n’est si bon

Caresser ta peau
Du bout des lèvres
Marcher sur le feu
Tourner en rond
Sentir tes cheveux
Deutsche Version:
Dein Auge
Vom Staub befreien.
Ein Dorn
Aus deiner Ferse ziehn.
Ich will die Welt
Nicht auf den Kopf stellen.
Mich um dich kümmern
Nichts ist schöner.

So tun als wären
Die Fallen gestellt.
Die Mauern
Deines Gefängnisses
Niederreissen.
Mit dir in’s Licht gehen
Mit dir fallen
Nichts ist schöner

Streit mit dir suchen,
Wegen deinen Manieren
Deiner Blindheit
All den Arschlöchern gegenüber.
Dir nachrennen
Um Krieg zu führen
Mich mit dir schlagen
Nichts kann schöner sein.

Deine Haut streicheln.
Auf leisen Sohlen
Durch’s Feuer gehen.
Im Kreis sich drehn
Deine Haare riechen
Du, du, nur du.
Es mit dir treiben
Nichts kann schöner sein.

13. Suzanne Vega, Tom's Diner (DNA feat. S.V.), 3:50

I am sitting
In the morning
At the diner
On the corner

I am waiting
At the counter
For the man
To pour the coffee

And he fills it
Only halfway
And before
I even argue

He is looking
Out the window
At somebody
Coming in

"It is always
Nice to see you"
Says the man
Behind the counter

To the woman
Who has come in
She is shaking
Her umbrella

And I look
The other way
As they are kissing
Their hellos

I'm pretending
Not to see them
And Instead
I pour the milk

I open
Up the paper
There's a story
Of an actor

Who had died
While he was drinking
He was no one
I had heard of

And I'm turning
To the horoscope
And looking
For the funnies

When I'm feeling
Someone watching me
And so
I raise my head

There's a woman
On the outside
Looking inside
Does she see me?

No she does not
Really see me
Cause she sees
Her own reflection

And I'm trying
Not to notice
That she's hitching
Up her skirt

And while she's
Straightening her stockings
Her hair
Is getting wet

Oh, this rain
It will continue
Through the morning
As I'm listening

To the bells
Of the cathedral
I am thinking
Of your voice...

And of the midnight picnic
Once upon a time
Before the rain began...

I finish up my coffee
It's time to catch the train

14. Popa Chubby, I Can't See the Light of Day, 7:11

I built my house on shallow sand
Now I just don't understand
Why it's all been washed away
And I can't see the light of the day

I tried so hard to make you smile
But you just stuck me in a file
Marked no good man just throw away
And I can't see the light of the day

Oh that darkness sure is cold
When you're shut out and feeling old
Old sick and broke and grey
And I can't see the light of the day

I don't mean you no offense
But that ain't no way to treat your friends
I wouldn't treat my dog that way
And I can't see the light of the day

16. Jill Scott, A Long Walk (A Touch of Jazz Remix), 4:03

You're here, I'm pleased, I really dig your company
Your style, your smile, your peace mentality
Lord, have mercy on me, I was blind, now I can see
What a king's supposed to be, baby I feel free, come on and go with me

Let's take a long walk around the park after dark
Find a spot for us to spark, conversation, verbal elation, stimulation
Share our situations, temptations, education, relaxations
Elevations, maybe we can talk about Surah 3118

Your background it ain't squeaky clean shit
Sometimes we all got to swim upstream
You ain't no saint, we all are sinners
But you put your good foot down and make your soul a winner

I respect that, man you're so phat
And you're all that, plus supreme
Then you're humble man I'm numb
Yo with feeling, I can feel everything that you bring

Let's take a long walk around the park after dark
Find a spot for us to spark, conversation, verbal elation, stimulation
Share our situations, temptations, education, relaxations
Elevations, maybe we can talk about revelations 3118

Or maybe we can see a movie
Or maybe we can see a play on Saturday
(Saturday)
Or maybe we can roll a tree
And feel the breeze and listen to a symphony
Or maybe chill and just be, or maybe
Maybe we can take a cruise and listen to the Roots
Or maybe eat some passion fruit
Or maybe cry to the blues
Or maybe we could just be silent

Come on, come on, let's take a long walk around the park after dark
Find a spot for us to spark, conversation, verbal elation, stimulation
Share our situations, temptations, education, relaxations
Elevations, maybe we can talk about something entire day

Or maybe we can see a movie
Or maybe we can see a play on Saturday
Or maybe we can roll a tree
And feel the breeze and listen to a symphony
Or maybe chill and just be, or maybe

Maybe we can take a cruise and listen to the Roots
Or maybe eat some passion fruit
Or maybe cry to the blues
Or maybe we could just be silent

Come on let's take a long walk around the park after dark
Find a spot for us to spark, conversation, verbal elation, stimulation
Share our situations, temptations, education, relaxations
Elevations, maybe baby, maybe we can save the nation
Come on, come on

17. Elvis Presley, Are You Lonesome Tonight ( :-) version), 2:34

Are you lonesome tonight,
Do you miss me tonight?
Are you sorry we drifted apart?
Does your memory stray to a brighter sunny day
When I kissed you and called you sweetheart?
Do the chairs in your parlor seem empty and bare?
Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there?
Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again?
Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight?

I wonder if youre lonesome tonight
You know someone said that the worlds a stage
And each must play a part.
Fate had me playing in love you as my sweet heart.

Act one was when we met, I loved you at first glance
You read your line so cleverly and never missed a cue
Then came act two, you seemed to change and you acted strange
And why Ill never know.
Honey, you lied when you said you loved me
And I had no cause to doubt you.

But Id rather go on hearing your lies
Than go on living without you.
Now the stage is bare and Im standing there
With emptiness all around
And if you wont come back to me
Then make them bring the curtain down.

Is your heart filled with pain, shall I come back again?
Tell me dear, are you lonesome tonight?
